Music Guidelines for Lent are as follows:
- For Mass parts -
- Kyrie – Belmont Mass: sing “Kyrie” (not “Lord have mercy")
- Gospel Acclamation – Respond & Acclaim
- Holy and Lamb of God - Option to do either Belmont Mass or the Latin "Sanctus" and "Agnus Dei"
- Memorial Acclamation – Can do any of the Belmont Mass acclamations
- POG – Will be instrumental only. Selections reflect the Lenten season
- Regarding Instrumentation – piano and guitar ok, but piano only is preferred; no percussion instruments during Lent
