"LAZARUS, COME OUT!"

In this week's gospel, Jesus resuscitates Lazarus from being dead for 4 days. This gospel is jam packed with symbolism showing how Jesus and Lazarus are different. Jesus descended into the dead for 3 days, Lazarus 4 days. Jesus left the cloth that wrapped him in the tomb, Lazarus was still wrapped in them. What do things like this mean? Jesus IS the resurrection and life. He isn't bound by death. Most importantly, those who believe in Jesus will never die spiritually but will live.
