We are TENANTS...In the gospel this week, our theme is all about BELONGING TO GOD. All that we have: our talents, looks, friends, family, things----are all GIFTS from God. Our job is to take care of those things including ourselves AND--here's the big thing--to realize that WE OWN NOTHING in this world. Jesus tells a parable of a vineyard owner who hires tenants to take care of his land (that's us taking care of the GIFTS God gives). Well, the tenants MESS UP big time! They kill of servants, abuse the land, and KILL the vineyard owner's SON (sound familiar???) The point is, EVERYTHING we have and EVERYTHING we are, belongs to God--it's ALL ABOUT HIM. Now...the question is, are we GOOD TENANTS or BAD TENANTS in this world?
