The Gospel shows Jesus not healing a possessed woman right away. This is NOT because he doesn't care, but to SHOW that his LOVE and SALVATION is for ALL. Back in the day, the JEWS were very proud to be the CHOSEN people. BUT...history has shown that not only the JEWS will be saved, but GENTILES (non Jews) too through stories LIKE THIS. He does not keep his SAVING POWER only for JEWS, but for ALL. Jesus ILLUSTRATES this by hearing the possessed woman's plea and CURING her. Through her persistence and faith in him, she was HEARD and CURED---showing that JESUS' power is for ALL...EQUALLY.

God Doesn't Discriminate
