After JOHN THE BAPTIST is arrested, JESUS moves to a town full of GENTILES. From there he began calling his 12 APOSTLES. He told them, "COME AFTER ME AND I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN." Jesus is the LIGHT of their town, a town of darkness-not literal darkness, but being the dark of not knowing GOD. So this is why we sing songs of LIGHT this week-to celebrate that JESUS is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
